Hemant Soren fulfills promise: Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia for martyred Agniveer's family before taking oath as Jharkhand CM
Jharkhand's incoming Chief Minister, Hemant Soren, honored his pledge by granting ₹10 lakh to the family of deceased Agniveer Arjun Mahto. Just hours before his swearing-in ceremony, Soren directed officials to expedite the compensation process, including a compensatory job offer. Mahto died in an encounter in Assam.
