I’m a vet and there’s only one breed of dog that terrifies me, they’re so unhinged and are far too clever

A VETERINARY nurse has revealed the one dog breed that leaves her petrified.

Eve, from the UK, took to social media to share which of the dogs she dreaded coming into the clinic, and it’s not the usual suspects.

In the video, the vet said: “What breed of dog scares me?

“As a vet nurse, this answer for me is so easy.

“Is it a staffy? Absolutely not. They are just potatoes. They are just cute and lovely.

“German shepherds, Rottweilers? No, absolutely not.”

In fact, the dog Eve picked as the worst was actually one of the UK’s top breeds – the Border Collie.

Known for being super smart and fast, she said these characteristics can also be a problem.

Eve said that unlike other dogs, the Border Collie has no fear of her or other animals.

“They unearth me,” she added.

“They will literally go head to head with a cow.”

She said they were also far too clever and always ten steps ahead of you and were often ‘unhinged’.

Not only that, she said often their tolerance level can be minimal – given you one warning lick before nipping at you.

Eve added: “I don’t treat any breeds any differently. I don’t really have preferences, but if one made me feel a little bit more uneasy than the rest, it would be Border Collies.”

While she did say that many of them make her slightly fearful, she said when you get a nice one they are the loveliest dogs in the world.

The clip went viral on her TikTok account @eve_the_veterinary_nurse with over 525k views and 17k likes.
