Our Little Secret hunk Ian Harding’s life off-screen – from secret marriage to role in huge TV show
ACTOR Ian Harding is all over TV screens this Christmas as he stars in Netflix holiday romance Our Little Secret.
Harding stars opposite actress Lindsay Lohan in the new festive Netflix movie, but if you’re wondering why he looks familiar that’s because he’s been in a lot of TV and films.
His latest role sees him in Our Little Secret as one of two disgruntled exes who find themselves spending Christmas together after realising their new partners are siblings.
The film was released on November 27 and also stars Tim Meadows, Kristin Chenoweth, Katie Baker and comedian Jon Rudnitsky.
Prior to his role opposite Lindsay Lohan, Harding made his acting debut in the 2009 comedy Adventureland, starring Kristen Stewart, Jesse Eisenberg and Ryan Reynolds.
After his small film part he landed roles in NCIS: Los Angeles and Hollywood Is Like High School With Money, before getting his big break with Pretty Little Liars.
In 2010, he was cast in Pretty Little Liars playing teacher Ezra Fitz, who was the main love interest of lead character Aria Montgomery (played by Lucy Hale).
The character and on-screen romance caught a lot of attention and was deemed ‘inappropriate’ due to the teacher and student set up.
Although the couple were initially adored, it didn’t take long for fans to start questioning the power dynamic between them.
Many viewers who have revisited the series express similar concerns about the main romance.
Harding stayed with the series for seven seasons and even picked up seven out of the eight Teen Choice Awards he was nominated for.
Following Pretty Little Liars, Harding also featured in the 2018 Office Uprising, 2019’s biopic Ford V Ferrari and 2022 film The Hater.
Outside of his acting career, 38-year-old Harding is married to wife and photographer Sophie Hart since 2019.
The couple’s secret wedding stayed out of the spotlight for almost two years, with US Weekly finally confirming in 2021 that they were married.
The pair have a child together, but have kept them out of the public eye and avoided revealing the child’s gender and name.
