But the actress has struggled with preparations for the show and this week told how she fainted while rehearsing with professional skater Andy Buchanan.

As a result the mum-of-two is taking some time off – and has told pals she’s questioning her decision to sign up for the show.

An insider told The Sun: “Chelsee is taking some time off from training.

“She’s been really struggling and is dealing with a lot in her private life and it’s all got too much.

“Dancing On Ice is is much harder than she ever thought it would be and Chelsee is not sure she would have signed up if she knew what was really involved.”

The source added: “Her family are really worried and just want her to be healthy.”

This week Chelsee updated fans on her progress so far, revealing she fell ill on the ice.

She wrote on social media: “I’m taking a little while off this i have so much going on and just feeling a little overwhelmed, i had training and fainted on the ice today.

“Thankyou to my great partner for making sure i was ok and supporting me until i came round @andybuchanan2.”

It was just weeks ago that Chelsee gushed about rehearsals for the ITV show in an exclusive interview with The Sun.

The soap legend declared, “I’m game for anything,” adding that she just wants to make her girls Cookie, 11 months, and Coco, seven, proud.

But she also has fears that attention from the primetime show’s big audience could lead to some nasty online comments aimed at her and her family.

Speaking to us on behalf of Ali Express, she said: “I think that’s always in the back of my head. I’m older now, I’m definitely wiser, my headspace is happy and content in my life that anybody that could say anything negative towards me wouldn’t really affect me.

“The thing that really upsets me is when they direct it at my children, that’s the one thing that you know scares me a little bit coming into Dancing On Ice is that they can be targeted.”
