India vs Australia Prime Minister’s XI two-day match Live Streaming: When and where to watch IND vs AUS PM XI LIVE in India online and on TV

There was good news for Team India ahead of their two-day tour match with the ‘Pink Ball’ against Australian Prime Minister’s XI at the Manuka Oval in Canberra starting on Saturday. The practice match is a precursor to the ‘Pink Ball’ India vs Australia 2024 second Test at the Adelaide Oval starting on December 6.

Team India are 1-0 up in the five-match series against Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy after winning the first Test match in Perth by 295 runs last week. The team has been boosted by the addition of regular skipper Rohit Sharma to the side, who missed the first Test after the birth of his second child.

Batter Shubman Gill also missed the first Test after fracturing a finger during practice. However, Gill returned to the India nets on Friday in Canberra, showing enough signs of a full recovery from a thumb injury that ruled him out of the series opener.

Gill’s absence was not felt in Perth as India won the game by 295 runs but considering his impressive run on the previous tour, the visitors need him at his best over the course of the five-match series. The top-order batter was seen facing Yash Dayal and Akash Deep in the nets ahead of the pink-ball warm-up game against Australian PM’s XI starting Saturday.

While Rohit is expected to open alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul could come in at three pushing Gill to number 5. It remains to be seen if India experiment in the batting order in the warm-up game as all batters would be allowed a hit in the middle considering it is not a first-class game.

Meanwhile, ahead of his side’s two-day pink-ball warm-up fixture against India, Australia’s Prime Ministers’ XI captain Jack Edwards said that the team is excited to go against some of the best players in the world. Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Edwards said, “Excited to go out there. Hopefully, the rains stays away. Prepared really well this morning in the nets. The group is young, with some old guys in the mix. We are all excited.

“It is an amazing opportunity for both young and old stars to come up against the likes of Rohit and Virat and some of the world’s best. Being around them was exciting for a lot of youngsters (at the Parliament House during interaction with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese). It is going to be awesome,” he added.
