Supreme Court stays Madras High Court order restoring DA case against former Tamil Nadu CM Panneerselvam, kin

The Supreme Court has stayed the Madras High Court's order which restored a disproportionate assets case against former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam and his family. The case involved allegations of his assets being disproportionate to his income during his tenure between 2001 and 2006. The trial will now be conducted in Madurai.
