Railway collected Rs 12,159 crore from passenger services during festive months: Govt

Indian Railways announced a passenger revenue of Rs 12,159.35 crore for September and October 2024, with a total of 143.71 crore passengers traveling during this festive period. The Central Railway Zone had the highest number of travelers, and 7,983 special train trips were arranged to meet the festive demand.
