India tells Bangladesh to protect all minorities; hopes arrested monk will get fair justice

India has urged Bangladesh's interim government to protect minorities amidst rising extremist rhetoric and violence against Hindus. It also hopes for a fair trial for arrested Hindu monk Chinmoy Krishna Das. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar highlighted the primary responsibility of Dhaka to ensure safety for all, including minorities, and drew attention to recent attacks during Durga Puja.
