Los Angeles Angels pitcher finds his way back to Topeka for the holidays

TOPEKA (KSNT) - One Topeka native is finding ways to give back this holiday season.

Ryan Zeferjahn, Los Angeles Angels pitcher and Seaman High School Alum, made his way back to the capital city to sign autographs at West Ridge Mall this afternoon.

The event doubled as the grand opening for the new location of the store R and D Sport Collectibles. Its original location was at the corner of Southwest 21st street and Washburn, but has now relocated to the top floor of the mall next to the food court.

"Seeing all the old friends and old faces coming back home, coming by to support, you know signing autographs for them has been awesome," Zeferjahn said. "So it's...I'm very grateful for them to come back and ask me to do this."
