NYC's Housing Connect offers affordable rentals for $1,000 or less

NEW  YORK (PIX11)—Housing Connect NYC, the official website that lists affordable housing opportunities for New York Residents, currently has 11 buildings offering rental units starting at $1,000.

These units can be found in all five boroughs.

One of the latest affordable housing buildings in Queens features garages, charging stations for electric cars, and air conditioning. It also has an amenity package that includes a gym, recreational room, pet spa, outdoor terrace, and rooftop terrace, which costs $100 monthly.

“New York City is committed to the principle of inclusivity in all of its neighborhoods, including supporting New Yorkers to reside in neighborhoods of their choice, regardless of their neighborhood of origin and regardless of the neighborhood into which they want to move,” the affordable housing website reads.
