Texas high school football playoffs: Scores from regional semifinals Friday, Nov. 29
AUSTIN (KXAN) — Vandegrift is headed to the 6A Division II regional final after a 49-35 win over Cibolo Steele on Friday at The Alamodome.
The Vipers will face San Antonio Harlan in the Region IV championship game. Harlan defeated Canyon 39-36 at UFCU Stadium in San Marcos.
Westlake advanced to the 6A Division I Region IV final with a 52-14 win over Buda Johnson and will face district rivals Lake Travis. The Cavs beat San Antonio East Central 52-7. They'll face off at 7 p.m., Dec. 6 at Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex.
Wimberley thumped Cuero 69-28 and will face Sinton in the 4A Division II Region IV final next week. Llano edged Goliad 30-29 and will play Edna in the 3A Division I Region IV championship game.
There are a handful of games Saturday to conclude the regional semifinal round in the Texas high school football playoffs.
