Former Made In Chelsea star Ashley James screen testing as host on This Morning
FORMER Made In Chelsea star Ashley James is screen testing as a host on This Morning, the Sun on Sunday can reveal.
The opinionated star, 37, has filmed with several different male presenters to try to be part of the rota.
The mother-of-two has become a regular commentator on the ITV show, appearing alongside host Cat Deeley.
A TV source said: “She’s impressed producers with her well-researched arguments and has gone down well with viewers.
“The show is always looking to expand and nurture its on-screen talent.”
We revealed this week that a shake-up was expected as Martin Frizell announced he was quitting as This Morning editor.
Ashley recently told how her “world stopped spinning” after her young son fell ill and had a seizure.
The mum-of-two had just given Alfie and his little sister Ada a bath when he complained of having a “bad tummy”.
Seconds later, Ashley says he began ‘convulsing’ on the floor and was whisked to A&E.
Thankfully, Alfie is now on the mend and Ashley has decided to speak out to raise awareness of febrile seizures.
Ashley wrote: “A slightly scary weekend over here as on Friday night Alfie had a seizure totally out of the blue.
“I debated sharing this but wanted to spread awareness as apparently it can be something really common in under 5s!”
