Donnie Wahlberg Reveals What He Took From 'Blue Bloods' Set After Filming Final Season
Donnie Wahlberg took home some memorable pieces from Blue Bloods.
The 55-year-old actor/singer starred as Detective Danny Reagan on all 14 seasons of the CBS law enforcement drama series, which will air its series finale on December 13.
In a new interview, Donnie revealed what he took from set once production officially wrapped.
Keep reading to find out more…“I took my two Danny Reagan costumes — my blue suit and my dress blues. I put them on mannequins and put them in a Wahlburgers,” Donnie told People, referring to his family burger restaurant chain.
He then found out that the Reagan family dining table, which was featured in all 293 episodes, was also available.
“I really had no intention of taking anything from the set until I learned that that table and chairs was just sitting in a warehouse somewhere,” Donnie explained.
Donnie plans on rotating the table and chairs between the Wahlburgers locations, starting at the one in St. Charles, Ill., where he lives with wife Jenny McCarthy.
“I’ll set it up where fans can sit at the table and take pictures,” Donnie shared. “And then I’m going to raffle it probably for charity for the DEA, the Detectives Endowment Association, for the Widows and Children’s Fund.”
The series finale of Blue Bloods will air on Friday (December 13) at 10 pm ET on CBS and it’s titled “End of Tour.” You can check out the episode’s synopsis here.
