Varanasi Municipal Corporation cracks down on waste collection failures and seizes government land

The Varanasi Municipal Corporation warns Varanasi Waste Solution of a Rs 5 crore payment deduction due to poor performance in garbage collection. Despite prior warnings, the company failed to meet standards and achieve 100% user charge collection. Additionally, the corporation marked and seized a total of 32 bighas of govt land in newly expanded areas.
