Jordan Poole’s Wizards complete a winless November month

SOMEBODY RESCUE THIS GUY FROM THAT TERRIBLE BASKETBALL!

As the Golden State Warriors are figuring out life after Klay Thompson, the injury to backup guard De’Anthony Melton looms large. This team is figuring out other guards on the team besides Buddy Hield who can create their own shot and playmaker when superstar point guard Stephen Curry is off of the court.

It’s crazy, before Thompson left the Dubs actually had another guard who was actually pretty good at creating his own shot and making plays for others.

Unfortunately, Poole is stranded in Washington D.C. playing for the Wizards, banished from Golden State after getting mollywhopped by teammate Draymond Green in practice in a truly unfortunate series of events.

Poole has been averaging a little over 20 points per game this season with the Wizards in 15 contests. That’s no small feat, proving that his time developing in Golden State’s system after being drafted in the first round of the 2019 draft has been a success.

But his team is struggling, going winless for the month of November. Yes, that’s right folks, Poole’s team didn’t win a single game for the entire month. That’s not leaving a great taste in any of Wiz faithful’s mouth despite it being a Thanksgiving weekend.

The Warriors have had a lot of seasons being terrible before the dynasty era, but correct me if I’m wrong...I’m not sure if they ever had a winless month?

It’s tough to see Poole fighting losing battles out there on the East Coast, here’s to hoping his paths cross back with the Golden Empire one day.
