Toronto Raptors vs. Miami Heat: Home and Home Rematch!
After falling to the Heat in Miami on Friday night, both teams travel back to Toronto to wrap up the home and home.
Home sweet home! After four straight games on the road, the Toronto Raptors return home tonight for the second half of their home and home series with the Miami Heat.
Toronto dropped Friday night’s NBA Cup matchup in Miami, which ultimately meant nothing in the in-season tournament, but still counts as a regular season game. The loss put Toronto at 1-11 on the road this season, their lone win coming last week in New Orleans.
Back at Scotiabank Arena, the Raptors are 4-4 at home this season. They’ve faired better at home than on the road this season, and with a lengthy home stand ahead of them, the team will look to get back on track and potentially pick up some more wins.
In their last outing, Toronto was still very injured, and Scottie Barnes led the way with another triple double. The outing made it Barnes’s sixth triple double in his young career, already putting him second all-time in Raptors history. Sitting ten behind Kyle Lowry all-time, Barnes will likely take over the top spot by the expiry of his new contract extension.
With essentially the same injury report tonight, Barnes will again have his hands full leading this Raptors squad.
