Mamata Banerjee urges Central government to address Bangladesh human rights issues

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee urged the Centre to seek the UN's intervention to address the torture of Hindus in Bangladesh. She offered refuge to the affected Bangladeshis in Bengal, contingent on Centre's approval. Banerjee also called on PM Modi and External Affairs Minister Jaishankar to issue statements in Parliament addressing this issue.
