OKCPD officer arrested for rape charge bonds out a day later
CANADIAN COUNTY (KFOR) - An Oklahoma City Police Officer was arrested Saturday on several charges including First Degree Rape.

According to the Canadian County Sheriff's Office 23-year-old Shamar Kitchens was arrested on charges of Rape First Degree, forcible sodomy, rape by instrumentation, pointing a firearm, pointing a weapon at another, domestic assault and battery, and threatening to perform an act of violence.
Kitchens was booked in the Canadian County Jail Saturday around noon, he posted bond and was released Sunday afternoon just before 3 p.m., according to the Canadian County Sheriff's Office website. His bail amount posted was $66,000.
The website showed that the agency involved in the arrest was the Oklahoma City Police Department.

News 4 called OKCPD to find out details of his arrest but because it is a weekend they said more information will be released Monday morning.
