2024 was Austin's hottest meteorological Fall on record

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The 2024 meteorological fall season, which ran from September 1 to November 30, was the hottest fall season on record for Austin, Texas, with an average temperature of 75.8° at Camp Mabry.

Numerous heat-related records were set during the 2024 meteorological fall season, including the latest ever triple-digit day in recorded history (101° on Oct. 11).
