I splashed out on Home Bargains’ 16 FOOT inflatable Grinch – it’s bigger than my house, and my man was not impressed

INFLATABLE Christmas decorations are a must-have for money.

But it seems that each year the offerings are getting bigger and bigger – and Home Bargains appear to have won the festive battle this round.

It’s all thanks to the 16.5 foot inflatable Grinch, which Christmas mega-fan Lauren was quick to snap up for a whopping £129.99.

However, as she giggled in a video on her TikTok page, Lauren admitted her fiance Dan wouldn’t be too impressed with her latest purchase, so she decided to put it up when he went to get his hair cut.

She even predicted he might be “tipped over the edge” by the buy, as he was struggling with the stress of Christmas and being in a new house.

“I actually think it’ll be bigger than the house,” Lauren said, ahead of putting the inflatable up in the garden.

“It’s ginormous!”

Once she put it up, she admitted she was struggling to breathe through her laughter, as the inflatable waved around in the breeze.

“He’s nearly falling into next door’s garden,” she laughed.

“This is the most fun I’ve had in ages!”

It was then time for Dan to return home, and he couldn’t contain his shock and horror as he saw the new addition to the garden.

Lauren tried to coax Dan around into liking the Christmas inflatable, as she urged: “He’s our friend. Give him a hug!”

However, standing next to the giant green blow-up Grinch, Dan still looked entirely unimpressed as it loomed over him.

In the caption of the video, Lauren asked people to “send help for Dan”.

The comments section was almost immediately filled with people weighing in on the purchase, with one writing: “100% knew you would buy this!”

“First time I’ve seen Dan speechless,” another laughed.

“The fact Dan goes from absolute face of pure fear to holding his finger like a child,” a third wrote.

“I’m absolutely creased!”
