The best of the Cyber Monday streaming deals will end tonight, and you'll kick yourself if you miss out, as there's no better time of the year to join. So act now unless you want to wait a year for these prices to come back.
Maybe we spend a bit too much time watching TV, but when we've been rounding up all the other best Cyber Monday deals today, streaming has stood as arguably the best category of them all.
The jaw-dropper deals ending tonight include six months of Max (formerly HBO Max) for $2.99 monthly, a Disney+/Hulu bundle for $2.99 monthly, and a year of Peacock for $20 (or $1.99 monthly for six months). As you'd expect at these low prices, they're all for the ad-supported tiers.
You'll certainly be forgiven for rolling your eyes at the prospect of more ads; I'm right there with you. But given you're getting four of the very best services out there for under $8 a month total, I think it's worth seeing how you go. You can cancel anytime, upgrade to ad-free if you're really enjoying an app, or build up enough shows to blast through in a brief window before canceling.
These Cyber Monday streaming deals are only available to new and returning customers. As long as you left said app a month or more ago, you should be fine to rejoin at these greatly reduced rates - I just rejoined Max, Peacock, and Disney+ after bailing a month or so back. You could also try creating a new account with a fresh login and payment details.
Up next, we've rounded up an extensive collection of the latest prices across multiple streaming networks. Browse the quick links below, or scroll down a little to see extra information about what these services offer and what you're getting for the price. Deals on ad-free versions are few and far between this Cyber Monday. But signing up for longer terms on ad-free tiers will usually get you a discount compared to just paying month after month. With ad-supported prices being so low, though, on some big players today, we think it's worth trying them out first. FAQs
When do these Cyber Monday streaming deals end?
Most of the really strong streaming deals with those massive discounts on the ad-supported tiers have confirmed end dates.
The Cyber Monday promos at Disney+, Max, Hulu, and Peacock are all listed as expiring on Monday, December 2 - we're going to assume at the end of the day at 11:59 p.m. - let's say ET to be on the safe side.
Paramount+ lasts a little longer as the expiry date in the T&Cs is listed as December 4 (Wednesday) - again, we're assuming through to the day's end.
As for the other deals on this page, those are what we like to call 'evergreen' deals, as they're traditional discounts you get on longer contracts and/or bundled services.
It varies by streaming service, but once a sale has started, you can expect most of them to last through at least Cyber Monday itself.
Am I locked into a contract if I sign up for one of these Cyber Monday streaming deals?
Nope! By default, once the deal you've signed up for ends, the streaming service will re-subscribe you for the regular price. But you can cancel anytime before the deal runs out, which will let you keep watching until the deal ends without getting re-subscribed for the higher price.
Any big names NOT doing Cyber Monday?
Netflix never gets involved with Cyber Monday (or any kind of price promotion), and this year's the same. It still has that status as 'too big to fail' almost and will still be enjoying all those extra subscribers it picked up for the recent Paul vs. Tyson live stream - with any luck, it will put that money towards the live TV streaming tech for future sports events, as the feed quality was more of an omnishambles that the truffle-shuffle excuse of a boxing bout.
We're surprised Apple TV+ didn't try something to get a much-needed boost. It's still a service light on content, but it's worth picking up for a month or two for excellent TV shows like The Morning Show, Foundation, Severance, For All Mankind, and Mythic Quest. Ted Lasso is also a show people also seem to enjoy there. If you've recently picked up a new Apple device, you may get a few months of free access.
Philo is already a very affordable live TV streaming service (especially compared to Sling and Fubo) and the cheapest way to watch Yellowstone season 5, part 2. But it's a no-show for Cyber Monday. There is a seven-day free trial, though.
