John Skillen – RIP

All at Dock AFC are deeply saddened to hear of the recent passing of Ex-Player and Manager John Skillen. John was a founding member of the club back in 1967 and during his time he performed many roles including; Player, Manager and Committee Member.

John is a true North End legend and will be truly missed by all involved at the club. Our sincere condolences are sent to John’s wife Margie and his two daughters Joanne and Lesley as well as all The Skillen family and friends.

John’s funeral will be held on Wednesday 18th December 2024 at 12:30pm in Landican Cemetery’s South Chapel. Family Flowers only and any donations will be greatly received by Birkenhead Kennels.
