Delhi HC sets aside IT tribunal’s order refusing stay on Rs 1,214 crore tax demand levied on Samsung India

The Delhi High Court has set aside the ITAT's order refusing Samsung India's stay application on a Rs 1,214 crore tax demand for the assessment year 2021-22. A bench of Justice Vibhu Bakhru and Justice Swarna Kanta directed the ITAT to decide the matter quickly on its merits, terming the initial rejection as unsustainable.
