NYSP searching for truck theft suspects who allegedly rammed trooper car
BRAINARD, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- New York State Police announced a search is underway for a pair of suspects reportedly involved in a hit-and-run with a trooper car. The incident occurred on Sunday in Brainard on the Columbia County/Rensselaer County line near Routes 20 and 66.
State police said that two men allegedly stole a truck and rammed a NYSP vehicle before driving off. A trooper was reportedly getting into the car at the time of the collision.
One of the two suspects was photographed, while the second suspect is described as a white man who was wearing dark clothing during the incident. The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at (845)677-7300.
