1. Troy Police investigating officer-involved shooting
Troy Police are reporting an officer-involved shooting that happened early Monday morning around midnight. Police said that the suspect involved in the shooting is in critical condition.
2. No Shave November Comes To An End
No Shave November has come to an end, it was a month to bring awareness to men's health issues and this year the men at NEWS10 participated, raising money for the American Cancer Society. It is so important to bring awareness to these issues and to raise money for the services that the American Cancer Society provides to those dealing with a cancer diagnosis.
3. Pilot transports dog ashes from Albany to VA for memorial
A volunteer pilot and five-month-old dog will be buried together Thursday in Virginia after both dying in a plane crash on Nov. 24 in Windham. The pilot, Suek Kim was transporting three dogs from a high-risk shelter to a shelter in Schoharie County, for a chance at a better life — now another pilot has stepped up to help.
4. Road in Niskayuna closed for paving on Monday
Officials are shutting down a street in Niskayuna on Monday for paving. Between Balltown Road and Via Del Mar, Nott Street will close from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the paving project.
5. Sunday marked busiest, most expensive day to travel over the past week
Millions of people across the country will head back home Sunday after enjoying a long Thanksgiving weekend. Several travel agencies said Sunday has shaped up to be the busiest day for travel over the last week. The American Automobile Association (AAA) said traffic will reach its peak between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday.
