Insider Reveals Princess Charlotte’s Surprising Hidden Talent That Should ‘Come in Handy’ This Christmas
If what insiders say is true, Princess Charlotte is sure to have the royal family in a fit of giggles and/or feeling awfully nostalgic this Christmas. The 9-year-old reportedly has a hidden talent that she may have inherited from a royal relative. Much like how she inherited her stellar side eye and love of dance from grandma Princess Diana, the young royal has also seemingly inherited another praise-worthy skill — but not from Granny Diana. This one’s from her great-grandma, Queen Elizabeth II.
“I’m told Charlotte has also inherited from the late Queen a brilliant ability to mimic prominent figures,” royal author Phil Dampier told Hello! “That should come in handy at Christmas when the royals gather in the evening at Sandringham to play charades.”
Not one, but two stunning revelations! Royals play charades?! Like us normies? And the late Queen (and her great-granddaughter) are experts at imitations? Is there a universe in which Princess Charlotte could host Saturday Night Live?!
“Queen Elizabeth used to have her family in stitches with her impersonations of politicians, including US Presidents and former Russian leader Boris Yeltsin,” Dampier continued. And even if she didn’t have an exact target in mind, broadcaster Gyles Brandreth told Hello!‘s A Right Royal Podcast that the late monarch “could do regional accents from all over the country.”
Now we’re dying to know if Princess Charlotte will indeed break out her own impersonations on Christmas day. Will she have the family “in stitches” or all in their feels as they think about Queen Elizabeth?
Most importantly, who will Princess Charlotte choose to be? Her bestie, Taylor Swift who she met at the Eras Tour concert in London? Her sweet and stoic older brother, Prince George? Her hilarious little brother, Prince Louis?
Last year, it was Prince Louis, then 5, who stole the show and had the public in stitches when he and his family attended the annual Westminster Abbey Christmas concert. He decided to mess with his big sis by trying to blow out her festive candle. The mischievous little guy is known for such antics and would certainly be an easy person to mimic. Whether it be his sass at Trooping the Colour or his boredom at King Charles III’s coronation, we’re sure Princess Charlotte could do a great Prince Louis. Especially if Dampier is to be believed.
