Indo-Pacific to Indo-Mediterranean: Italy-India focus on maritime ties

Italian policy makers, including a minister and senator, visited New Delhi and Mumbai to advance maritime partnership with India, focusing on trade, defence, and blue economy under the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEEC). Italy seeks to be India's gateway to Europe and plans space cooperation with India from a new section in the Italian consulate in Bangalore.
