Saints' Taysom Hill out for season due to injury
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill will sit out for the remainder of the season due to injury, the team announced Monday.
During their game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Hill was carted off the field after suffering a knee injury.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that an MRI discovered a torn ACL, along with additional damage.
Rapoport said this type of injury is "serious for the 35-year-old-to-be to recover from."
The Saints were defeated by the Rams 21-14 in the Caesars Superdome.
