Britney Spears Declared Legally Single on 43rd Birthday, Seven Months After Settling Divorce from Sam Asghari

Britney Spears is celebrating her birthday as a single woman.

The California courts declared the “Toxic” singer legally single on Monday, December 2, seven months after she finalized her divorce from ex-husband Sam Asghari, according to court documents obtained by People.

December 2nd also happens to be Britney‘s 43rd birthday.

Sam filed for divorce in August 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

If you forgot, Sam met Britney on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016 and got engaged in 2021. Sam was a major support system for Britney as she fought to finally end her conservatorship.

Shortly after finalizing their divorce in July, Britney shared a post reflecting on her life post-split.

It was also recently revealed that Britney has been reconciling with one of her sons.
