Water service disruptions, boil water advisory for some in Fonda

FULTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Water service disruptions and a boil water advisory will be in effect for the village of Fonda beginning early Tuesday morning. The advisory applies to homes and businesses in the Park Street area.

Crews will be repairing a water main break on Park Street early Tuesday morning. Water service disruptions should be expected, and a boil water advisory will be in place once the repair is complete.

The following areas will be affected:

• Hogans Alley
• Park Street
• Railroad East
• S. Bridge Street
• S. Center Street
• S. Broadway Street
• All areas south of the railroad from the Town of Mohawk offices to the Fonda Fairgrounds

Village officials are encouraging users to be prepared with enough water for drinking and cooking. Additional information will be provided on the village's website.
