Security beefed up at Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi

Delhi Police have increased security around the Bangladesh High Commission in Chanakyapuri. This action follows a protest at the Bangladesh consulate in Agartala. Section 163 of the BNSS is in force. Thousands protested against the arrest of Hindu monk Chinmoy Krishna Das and attacks on the Hindu community in Bangladesh. The MEA termed the incident deeply regrettable.
