Around 76 lifts have been registered under the UP Lift Act since its enforcement on September 25. This includes 14 lifts in GB Nagar and 7 in Ghaziabad. The Act aims to reduce lift-related accidents through proper registration and maintenance, penalizing delays beyond six months.
