Identity swap: Chennai man impersonates brother for 20 years, deceives family and legal system

Chennai police solved the Vikram-Vethal conundrum by apprehending the real suspect, Palani, after tracking his digital footprints for five months. Palani had posed as his brother, Panneerselvam, who was wrongly convicted. The case unravelled when police discovered Palani's deception and arrested him from a hideout in Madipakkam.
