NYRA announces new July 4th Racing Festival, 2025 dates

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The New York Racing Association (NYRA) is adding more track dates for the 2025 racing season, including a new festival and the return of the Belmont Stakes. The upcoming racing season introduces a July 4th Racing Festival, traditionally held at Belmont Park.

With Belmont Park still under construction, the July 4th Racing Festival is Thursday, July 3, through Sunday, July 6. The festival caps off the 2025 Belmont at the Big A spring and summer meet.

The Belmont Stakes Racing Festival will run at the Saratoga Race Course from Wednesday, June 4, through Sunday, June 8. Saratoga's official 40-day summer meet begins Thursday, July 10, and runs through Labor Day.
