Spotify Wrapped finally arrives with mind-blowing new podcast all about YOU led by two AI hosts

SPOTIFY Wrapped is finally rolling out to the joy of music fans – and it has some mega new features this year.

Users had feared the hugely popular annual round-up was delayed, having launched in November for the last two years.

Once again, the most listened artists and tracks are broken down but for 2024 it includes a special podcast all about you.

Two AI hosts created by Google will discuss your listening habits on Spotify for between three and six minutes.

Google bosses told The Sun that the feature shouldn’t say anything inappropriate beyond banter – but Spotify says any explicit language about song titles will be retained.

This is available in English for eligible free and premium users for a limited time across the UK, the US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland, and Sweden.

The AI DJ is also on hand with some end of year fun, providing commentary about your year alongside the music that soundtracked it.

Elsewhere, Spotify has added a music evolution, showing a data story with up to three musical phases from across your year.

This will come to life with a dedicated playlist too, playing a mix of familiar favourites and new songs Spotify predicts you will love.

On top of the usual stats, a longest listening streak shows you the artist you’ve enjoyed the most this year, as well as top listeners to reveal what percentage of listeners you’re in.

Artists have once again filmed special video messages to thank their fans that will appear in the app.

Spotify is rolling out Wrapped now – it should appeared as a button at the top of the app when you open it.

As well as launching Spotify Wrapped, the streamer has shared its overall most played artists and tracks for 2024.
