NYC Mayor Eric Adams Doesn’t Rule Out Joining GOP After Democrats Turn on Him (VIDEO)
Democrat Mayor Eric Adams did not rule out switching parties in a recent interview after giving his support for Trump’s agenda on the border.
Formerly a Republican, Adams switched to Democrat in 2002.
The move would make sense as Adams has taken some based immigration positions after four years of Biden’s border crisis.
Previously, Adams was targeted by Biden’s DOJ for alleged involvement in a web of corruption and illegal foreign donations, potentially implicating powerful interests spanning six foreign nations. The charges and an FBI investigation began investigating him after he spoke out against Biden for opening the border and flooding his city with illegal aliens.
As The Gateway Pundit recently reported, Adams came out in support of and announced plans to work with Trump Border Czar Tom Homan, saying, “cancel me because I’m going to protect the people of this city.”
“Those who are here, committing crimes, shooting at police officers, raping innocent people, have been a harm to our country. I want to sit down and hear their plan on how to address them,” Eric Adams stated.
Adams continued, “Those are the people I’m talking about, and I would love to sit down with the Border Czar and hear his thoughts on how we are going to address those who are harming our citizens.
Adams is scheduled to meet with Homan to discuss deportation efforts next week as New York City remains overrun with illegal aliens flown in by the Biden Regime.
In light of this, a reporter asked him, "Would you ever consider rejoining the GOP?"
WATCH:
Adams: The party that's the most important for me is the American party. I'm a part of the American party. I love this country. This is the home of the free, the land of the brave. My 19-year-old nephew died on the fields of Vietnam, protecting what this city and this country represents. And that's the party I'm going to always be a member of, and I did it as a police officer when I wore that bulletproof vest for 22 years, and I'm going to do it with this blue suit as the mayor of the city of New York.
However, some on social media worry that he'd be a RINO and that he'd only be saving himself by "joining a winning team" after the Democrats turned on him.
No more RINOs, please. https://t.co/zNM4NIfboi

What a complete political tool
He should not be welcome anywhere moral fiber is respected— Jim Hanson (@JimHansonDC) December 6, 2024
The Democrats are after him for speaking out against the illegal invader issues. I think he’s just trying to save himself.
