Latest Brotherhood Podcast: #47 With Isaiah Evans

The hero of Auburn stops by to talk about his prodigious first half, and what he’s learned at Duke.

The latest Brotherhood Podcast is out and the guest, not surprisingly and quite deservedly so after his outing against Auburn, is Isaiah Evans.

Evans had one of the great freshman explosions in Duke history, showing his offensive potential with 18 points in the first half, almost entirely off of three pointers.

Here’s what the Slim Reaper had to say about his output: “To be honest, I was just having it in my head, like, just stay ready. I know my time is coming soon. When I get out there, if I get out there, just I’m going to make the most out of my opportunity.

“I mean, I knew I was going to have a rolling when I hit the first turnaround. You know, it was kind of a difficult shot. But, you know, once I knocked him down, I knew it was probably going to be a nice game.”
