Active weather pattern through the next several days, higher rain chances
After a quiet few days, we're entering in a busier pattern across the area.
An upper-level feature is going to move through tomorrow, giving us mostly cloudy skies and a chance for light rain throughout the day. I'm not expecting anything heavy tomorrow and rain chances will be near 30%.
A warm front is going to move north by Sunday, increasing both rain coverage and intensity. Rain chances on Sunday will be near 70-80%, meaning the majority of the area will pick up at least light amounts of precipitation. Temperatures will also be warming on Sunday, getting into the lower 70s with increasing southerly winds.
The warm front is going to stall near the region for Monday, continuing the pattern of cloudy skies, warm temperatures, and decent rain chances.
We'll finally clear out by Tuesday as a strong cold front sweeps through. Overall, rain totals Saturday through Tuesday will be in the 1-3 inch range.
Much cooler conditions by Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday with sunshine returning.
