6 WNBA expansion draft winners (Kate Martin) and losers (Indiana Fever)

The Golden State Valkyries era is well underway, and now it can *really* begin because it has a team.

On Friday, WNBA fans watched as the Valkyries unveiled their selections during an ESPN expansion draft special. Nobody was probably happier than general manager Ohemaa Nyanin and head coach Natalie Nakase to finally have a roster they can shape and mold to compete among the league’s best.

Of course, we cannot predict what will and will not work out for Golden State. But we can tell you who won and most definitely lost after the Valkyries’ draft.
