Syrian Rebels Advance Toward Homs As Russia, Turkey, Iran Meet

Rebels in Syria were reported to be advancing closer to the central city of Homs on December 7 as Russia, Iran, and Turkey prepared to meet to discuss the most serious challenge in years to the authoritarian rule of President Bashar al-Assad.
