Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma brutally TROLLED on social media following poor knocks in Adelaide Test
Senior India batters Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma failed during India’s second innings in the Adelaide Test. While Kohli lost his wicket to Scott Boland for 11, Rohit was clean bowled by Australian skipper Pat Cummins for 6.
The batters didn’t really got going in the first innings either as Kohli was dismissed for 7 while Rohit could only manage to score 3 before getting sent back to the dugout.
Fans’ expectations were quite high from the duo following India’s comprehensive 295-run victory in the previous Test in Perth, however they clearly weren’t able to deliver. Their poor performances led to Australia completely controlling the Adelaide Test by the end of the second day.
Following these poor batting displays, fans flocked to social media to criticize the duo and many even called for them to announce their retirement from the Test format for the betterment of Indian cricket.
