Jessica Chastain Makes Rare Appearance with Her Husband While Being Honored at American Cinematheque Awards

Jessica Chastain rarely walks the red carpet with her husband, Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo, but he was there for support on her big night!

The Oscar-winning actress was honored with the special prize at the 2024 American Cinematheque Awards on Friday night (December 6) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Jessica was also joined on the red carpet by her mother and grandmother.

During her speech, Jessica talked about breaking ground for women in the film industry.

“In my career, I have worked to dismantle the restrictive roles society imposes on women. In January 2013, right in the beginning of my career, I reached a major milestone – landing the weekend in the two top box office films, Mama and Zero Dark Thirty. These roles broke new ground… Showing women as complex, powerful, and non-traditional. It wasn’t just about box office success. It was proof that audiences were hungry for stories of powerful, multifaceted women,” she said.

Jessica and Gian Luca have been together since 2013 and they got married in 2017. The couple shares two children.
