Bruins’ David Pastrnak Rocks Fan-Favorite Pregame Outfit
BOSTON — The Bruins were shown plenty of love last week as they celebrated their centennial game against the Montreal Canadiens.
Boston went all out for the festivities, honoring milestone moments over the last few months by inviting legendary players back for pregame ceremonies, debuting specialty uniforms and unveiling a new monument around TD Garden.
The Patriots and Celtics also did their best to contribute. New England and (the other) Boston handed out jerseys for their players to wear upon arrival, with some understanding the assignment more than others.
Celtics guard Derrick White went above and beyond, rocking his new threads (a David Pastrnak jersey) on the bench as he sat out with an injury.
Pastrnak clearly appreciated the effort.
The B’s posted a video of arrivals prior to their matchup with the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, showing the 28-year-old somewhat returning the favor with a special jersey of his own. It’s always cool seeing the local teams support each other, with plenty of examples over the years. Pastrnak and White’s back-and-forth might be among the best.
