2024 BC Track Championships: Dec 13-15

We hope you’re ready for an adrenaline filled weekend of racing because the 2024 BC Provincial Track Championships are less than two weeks away! From Dec 13th to 15th, we’re hosting a packed schedule of events for sprinters, endurance riders, and youth racers alike. More event details are available on the official race page here.

Event registration is only available until the 11th, so make sure you get yourself signed up now so you don’t miss out!

This is a Cycling BC-sanctioned event, so all riders need to present either a Provincial Race or UCI Race license to participate. Some riders may be able to race with a Cycling BC Single Event License, see the technical race guide for more details. Keep in mind that while everyone is welcome (and encouraged) to join the racing, only BC residents will be eligible for medals or jerseys. For this year, jerseys will only be available for CBC championship categories. If an out-of-province rider achieves a podium finish there will be two podium ceremonies.

Prize Money?

We’re excited to share that plans are in motion to offer prize money for the elite race podium positions! To help make this happen, Dylan Davies has generously offered to professional headshot services on race day, with proceeds going towards the prize pool.

Stay tuned, details are still scare but once everything is finalized, we’ll post keep you updated on our website and social media pages!

Krampus Racing: Dec 20th

Kick off the holiday season with a mix of racing and goodwill at our annual Kristmas Krampus Foodbank Fundraiser Race! (Bit of a mouthful – we know). Instead of a race entry fee, we’re asking all participants to make a donation to the Vancouver Food Bank through the event donation link which will be posted soon. Big or small, every bit helps, you can show proof of your donation to the track attendants when you arrive.

This year, we’ve set a goal of raising $600 for the food bank. Can we count on you to help us reach it?

Keep an eye on our website and social media pages in the week leading up to the race for the donation link and additional event details. We promise you won’t want to miss out on it so make sure to mark your calendars for December 20th!
