Naxalites kill BJP worker in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur; 5th civilian murder in one week

Naxalites killed a BJP worker in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district, claiming he was a police informer. This is the fifth civilian murder by Naxalites in the district in a week, and over 60 such killings have occurred in Bastar division this year. Nine BJP leaders have been killed in the division since January 2023.
