Centre must act, protect minorities in Bangladesh: Mamata Banerjee

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee urged the central government to protect minorities in Bangladesh amid recent violence. She also requested the repatriation of those wishing to return to India and highlighted the circulation of fake videos aimed at inciting communal tensions. Attacks against Hindu minorities have been reported across numerous districts since August 5.
