Court orders Emami to pay Rs 15 lakh fine for misleading ad after Delhi man doesn't turn 'Fair and Handsome'

A Delhi consumer court penalized Emami Ltd. The company was fined Rs 15 lakh. A man filed a complaint against their Fair and Handsome cream. He said the fairness cream advertisement was misleading. The court ordered Emami to stop the unfair practice. The company must withdraw misleading advertisements and packaging. Emami also has to pay the complainant Rs 60,000.
