Shawn Mendes Seemingly Talks Love Triangle With Camila Cabello & Sabrina Carpenter, Reveals What He Learned From It

Shawn Mendes appeared to open up about a heavily rumored love triangle involving him, Camila Cabello and Sabrina Carpenter in a new interview.

If you forgot, the 26-year-old “Stitches” hitmaker had sparked romance rumors with the “Taste” pop star shortly before briefly rekindling his relationship with Camila in early 2023.

Fans speculated that Sabrina addressed the situation in the lyrics of her album Short n Sweet. However, none of three have directly confirmed any details about the situation.

In a new interview, Shawn did allude to a love triangle that he got caught up in. He also shared the biggest takeaway from it and what he told the woman he was with at the time before meeting up with his ex.

In a snippet from a forthcoming interview on John Mayer‘s SiriusXM show How’s Life, Shawn noted that he was “with someone” while still processing feelings about an ex.

“Two days before going to hang with my ex, [I] express I’m going to hang with my ex because I have unresolved feelings. Maybe instead of two days it could have been two weeks,” he reflected, via TMZ.

Shawn revealed something that he learned from the situation: “The biggest lesson I’ve learned is you don’t… no one gets out of this life without getting hurt. And no one gets out of this life without hurting someone,” he said.
