DC Studios Preps Movie Starring Famous Batman Villain Clayface, Writer Attached

A new Batman villain will officially be joining DC Studios’ cinematic universe.

According to reporting by Variety, the studio is developing a movie focused on Clayface. A writer is attached and additional details were revealed.

The outlet noted that Mike Flanagan is attached to the project to write the script. He first expressed interest in working on a Clayface movie in 2021, telling fans that he envisioned a movie about him taking on a “horror/thriller/tragedy” tone.

Despite his hint, we don’t know much about the movie’s plot just yet.

While Mike will write the script, the DC Studios is on the hunt for another director to tackle the project because he has other commitments.

According to reports, the movie could enter production “early next year,” and more details are expected soon.
