We’ve already seen some great moments from Quincy Olivari this season and he gave us another after scoring his first NBA bucket on Sunday.

From his response to meeting Steph Curry to his wholesome reaction to finding out he made the Lakers roster, every Quincy Olivari story is better than the last.

After making his NBA debut against the Blazers on Sunday, Olivari gave us another awesome moment. The Lakers cruised to victory and Olivari played for eight minutes, scoring his first points in the NBA on a corner 3-pointer.

After the win, Olivari was his usual long-winded self and shared what it was like to prepare for this game and what the moment meant to him...along with a bit of speaking things into existence.

"A lot of prayer, a lot of preparation and a lot of perseverance,” Olivari said. "It meant a lot, especially to have my dad here just. He was the first person to take me to an NBA game at Phillips Arena. Sit up in the 300 section. I used to just say I want to be here and to have it here and have him here, hit a three, it meant a lot.

“It was a great feeling and obviously I'm glad we won, but I hope it's three points of 50,000. I dream big, but, I'm just happy that I got it in a win."

Three down, 47,997 to go.

While his eagerness and enthusiasm are contagious, he's not just on this team as a chemistry guy; he has potential. Olivari shined in preseason, forcing the Lakers to make room for him to sign a two-way contract.

He's been spending time playing with the South Bay Lakers and is dominating the G League. On Dec. 6, he had another productive game for South Bay, scoring 17 points on 50% shooting in a win versus the Salt Lake City Stars.

Being a two-way player means that your entire week and schedule can change at a moment's notice. Olivari discussed how he found out late that he would suit up for the main team due Austin Reaves and LeBron James missing Sunday’s contest.

"I almost wasn't able to take my nap today," Olivari said. "When I woke up this morning at 8 A.M., woke up to a text, 'Change of plans. You active,' and I was just up. I was excited. It just felt like the day and everybody has those feelings where you just feel real confident that something's about to happen. I prayed twice and I did my usual.

"I went up, got some shots up in the morning, played the game with my friends at home, ate, took a nap, woke up – unfortunately, my Falcons lost, but it's whatever – came to the game, listened to my Lil Baby and just went through my routine and it just felt good."

Being a Falcons fan is tough, but Olivari is still winning in life. He made his Lakers debut, scored his first points and recently signed an endorsement deal with the Curry Brand.

Based on his attitude and skill, it's safe to say this is just another of many more great moments for Olivari in a purple and gold uniform. May his next moment in the spotlight be even brighter than this one.
